The City of Emeryville Planning Commission is reviewing plans to expand the Emeryville Bay Center life sciences campus with a new seven-story parking garage, as well as a 210,000-square-foot office and laboratory building. The Bay Center is one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s long-term projects.

Along with 32 units of housing, the development will have almost 2,000 square feet of commercial space and ground floor garage for on-site parking. The development will consist of an apartment building and townhouses surrounding a central green area, with 48 of the 316 apartments and 18 of the 116 townhomes being designated as affordable. There will also be on-site parking for 552 cars and 714 bicycles.

The complex will feature 46 units of housing, 11 of which will be affordable, and ~2,500 square feet of commercial space. There will also be on-site parking for seven vehicles and 46 bicycles.

EAH Housing has submitted permits for a mixed-use affordable housing complex at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 500 Lake Park Avenue site in Oakland. The development would demolish the single-story commercial building currently on-site, replacing it with a six-story structure consisting of 54 affordable units, ~2,500 square feet of retail space, and on-site parking.

The development will be a 15-story affordable senior housing complex, which will have 187 units of housing along with 1,520 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.
