Plans were filed for a five-story, 92-unit residential development at 1601 Ocean Avenue in San Francisco, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. The complex will contain over 2,800 square feet of residential space for four retail shops, and residential amenities will include a lounge, courtyard, and rooftop deck. Moreover, residents will be just 25 minutes from the Stonestown Galleria on foot.

MidPen Housing has secured almost $163 million in funding to begin the next phase of the Midway Village residential development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 80 and 88 Park Street in Daly City. The five-phase complex will create up to 555 units of affordable housing, with much of this new funding allocated to the 113-unit second phase.

Plans for a seven-story, 174-unit affordable residential development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 2165 The Alameda are set to be reviewed by the San Jose Planning Commission. The complex will utilize modular construction, decreasing price and increasing efficiency, and it will contain amenities such as a rooftop deck, gym, communal lounge area, and on-site parking.

Around $9.5 million of public funding has been approved for the proposed 54-unit affordable development at the old Point Reyes Coast Guard Station at 100 Commodore Webster Drive, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. The site is an ideal location for conversion into new housing because of the existing facilities and infrastructure from the old station.

The San Francisco Planning Commission has approved a zoning variance to construct 75 residential units to replace the defunct Alexandria Theater at Geary Boulevard and 18th Avenue, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. This recently approved iteration allows for increased density, but it also requires developer TimeSpace Group to retain the theater’s historic sign, marquee, murals, and chandelier.

The proposed ten-story residential development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 3000 Shattuck Avenue site in Berkeley is continuing to move forward. The complex would include 166 apartments, 17 of which would be affordable, along with over 1,000 square feet of retail space. Amenities will include a clubroom, rooftop deck with dining facilities and an entertainment area, and on-site parking for bicycles.
