Plans have been submitted for single-family housing on Rockridge Geotechnical’s 4035 Park Boulevard site in Oakland, which consists of four mini-lots. The development will create four 2.5-story single-family houses directly next to one another, with each house having a one-car garage and private patio.

A jazz club, along with interior renovations, have been proposed at the San Francisco Armory at 1800 Mission Street, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. This development will not change the historic façade of the building, but it will add to the main entertainment venue called the Drill Court while creating a dedicated jazz club. A VIP lounge will also be added.

Construction has begun on the California College of the Arts (CCA) expansion at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 1140 7th Street in San Francisco. The new on-campus facilities, which include two four-story structures and one two-story structure for educational purposes, are dubbed Double Ground. This expansion allows CCA to unify its programs into one campus, with the college closing its Oakland campus.

Two mixed-use developments have been proposed at adjacent lots at 1154 and 1170 Sonora Court in Sunnyvale, both of which are Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. Both buildings will rise 85 feet, containing office space, residential space, and on-site parking. 1154 Sonora will contain 172 residential units and ~142,000 square feet of office space, while 1170 Sonora will have 105 homes and ~79,000 square feet of office space.

Expansion plans for the Heritage on the Marina retirement community, which is at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 3400 Laguna Street in San Francisco, are under review. This expansion will increase the facility floor area from 83,200 square feet to 141,580 square feet, and the number of units will be increased from 86 to 109. There will also be an increase in on-site parking, and the complex’s landscaping will be redone.

The proposed development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 550 East Brokaw Road in San Jose has been approved. After demolition of the existing on-site buildings, the project would develop seven buildings, which combine for nearly 2,000,000 square feet of office space, along with a public park. Landscaped pathways will cross through the park and connect the buildings.

Construction has reached the second floor at the eight-story, 90-unit mixed-use complex at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 988 Harrison Street site in San Francisco. Along with on-site parking, the building will also include almost 7,000 square feet of retail space. Moreover, 12 of the 90 units will be affordable.

The groundbreaking ceremony for Eden Housing’s La Avenida affordable housing complex will be happening this week. La Avenida, which is located at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 1188 Armand Drive site in Mountain View, will create 100 affordable homes in an excellent neighborhood. The complex will also focus on housing veterans and formerly homeless individuals.
