Seven of the 68 units will be allocated for very low-income residents, and the building will include ~1,200 square feet of retail space. The complex’s amenities will revolve around terrific landscaping, with amenities including a rear yard with planters and a landscaped rooftop deck.

Permits have been filed in the hopes of receiving approval for a mixed-use development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 1232 High Street site in Oakland. The proposed five-story project would create a ~129,000-square-foot mixed-use self-storage building for StorQuest Self Storage. The building will also include on-site parking, a loading dock, office space, a lobby, a community room, and landscaped areas surrounding the building.

Using the Builder’s Remedy, the multi-building complex will create 189 homes, 38 of which will be designated as affordable, and a 137-room hotel. A grand opening ceremony was recently held for the new affordable housing development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 1171 Mesa Drive site in Almaden, San Jose. The complex, called Mesa Terrace Community, will create 46 affordable homes; 23 of those homes will be for low-income families, while the other 23 will be for transition-aged youths recently exiting the foster system. The complex also includes a 1,000-square-foot community room and is within walking distance of the Blossom Hill VTA light rail station, as well as being next to a retail plaza with a grocery store.
