Building permits were submitted for a seven-story residential development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 1899 Oxford Street in Berkeley. The complex will contain 216 units, 33 of which will be affordable, along with 4,000 square feet of ground-level retail space.

Plans are scheduled to be reviewed for the eight-story residential development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 762 San Antonio Road site in Palo Alto. Of the 228 apartments, 30 will be affordable, and parking will be included for 284 cars and 252 bicycles. Moreover, the complex will contain amenities such as a fitness center, club room, pet wash, wellness center, and entertainment room.

A grand opening ceremony was held for the five-story affordable Timber Senior Apartments complex at 37660 Timber Street in Newark, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. The 79-unit development contains amenities such as a communal lounge with a full kitchen, landscaped courtyard, computer learning center, and exercise room. Moreover, of the 79 affordable units, 20 will be allocated to seniors who were previously experiencing homelessness, medical conditions, or behavioral health conditions. Surface parking will also be included for 65 cars.

1130 Oxford Street in Berkeley

Permits were filed for a 32-townhome development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 1130 Oxford Street in Berkeley. Each of these new homes will be three stories, and they will all contain a single-car garage. These residences will replace the abandoned Oxford Elementary School campus, as the school’s campus has been relocated to University Avenue.

The City of Palo Alto granted a streamlined approval process for the seven-story, 183-unit multifamily residential development at 3781 El Camino Real, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. Of the 183 units, 23 will be affordable, and parking for 215 cars and 148 bicycles will be included in a three-story podium garage. Residential amenities will include a podium-top courtyard, co-working space, a fitness center, a pet spa, and a rooftop club room connected to a terrace.

The development will contain 136 apartments across all its buildings, and residential amenities will include a community room, outdoor play areas, and an after-school learning center.

This new application looks to create 81 apartments, an increase of 13 apartments from the previous iteration of the project. Moreover, the complex would include 4,800 square feet of shared amenity space.

An application was filed to replace two existing commercial buildings with an eight-story, 363-unit apartment complex at 19300 Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. The development includes amenities such as a community room, fitness center, pet spa, outdoor living spaces, two outdoor courtyards, and a three-story parking garage with room for 451 cars and 219 bicycles. Moreover, of the 363 units, 43 will be affordable.
