The West Oakland transit-oriented development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site surrounding West Oakland BART is taking initial steps towards construction. The complex would create 762 new residential units, around 300,000 square feet of office space, and around 53,000 square feet of retail space across three new buildings near the train station ranging from seven stories to 31 stories.

Plans are scheduled to be reviewed for the seven-story residential development at 3606 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. The project aims to create 321 apartments, 36 of which will be affordable, along with amenities like a two-story garage with parking for cars and bicycles and an expansive podium-top deck, featuring a pool deck, landscaping, and outdoor seating.
