The new three-story campus building for University High School at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 3150 California Street site in San Francisco is now complete. The 48,000-square-foot facility was designed to meet Net Zero Energy Standards, with the building containing classrooms, STEM learning spaces, community gathering spaces, food services, faculty rooms, a new multi-purpose gymnasium, and outdoor common areas. This is the fifth building within the University High School campus, and it is expected to receive LEED Platinum certification.

The five-story, 79-unit Madrone Terrace affordable housing complex opened earlier this month at 16060 East 14th Street in Ashland, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. Of the 79 apartments, 21 will be allocated to formerly unhoused households with severe mental health needs. Along with the residential units, the development also includes a 12,300-square-foot community center with multipurpose rooms, a fitness center, a pre-K classroom, and an outdoor playground.

Permits were filed for a 20-story, 258-unit apartment complex at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 360 5th Street site in San Francisco. This proposal replaces a previous iteration of the project, which called for the construction of 115 for-sale condominiums. Of the 258 apartments, 40 would be affordable, and amenities would include outdoor balconies on the fourth floor and rooftop, as well as parking for cars and bicycles.

A formal application has been submitted for an eight-story residential development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 668 East 3rd Avenue in San Mateo. The complex will include 128 apartments, 20 of which will be affordable for very low-income and moderate-income households. An Architectural Review Meeting was scheduled for the development of a seven-story residential complex at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 762 San Antonio Road site in Palo Alto. The building will contain 198 units, 26 of which will be affordable, and amenities will include a pool with a courtyard, a terrace, and on-site parking in a 252-car garage. The complex will replace three existing commercial buildings.
