Developer AvalonBay has purchased Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 6200 Bollinger Canyon Road in San Ramon’s Bishop Ranch to construct a 456-unit residential complex. The development will be called Avalon San Ramon, and it will include amenities such as a rooftop deck, fitness center, pool, and pet spa. This complex is just one of many large multifamily developments set to be constructed in Bishop Ranch, and Avalon San Ramon will sit across from the 300,000-square-foot City Center, an open-air shopping center.

Updated renderings were released for an eight-story, 14-unit apartment building at 915 Bryant Street in San Francisco, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. The ground floor of the complex will contain a small café.

Permits were filed for a new six-story residential development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 1700 Sacramento Street site in Berkeley, part of the larger North Berkeley BART transit-oriented development. This building will contain up to 85 units, along with amenities such as a ground-floor lobby, offices, bike storage, a laundry room, and a community room. Moreover, the complex will contain a 2,400-square-foot private open plaza.

New building permits were filed for the 21-story residential development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 360 5th Street site in San Francisco. The structure is expected to contain 272 units, 42 of which would be affordable, as well as a fourth-floor podium-top courtyard, rooftop deck, and on-site parking for cars and bicycles. This application is the latest iteration of the future development at 360 5th Street, with this version including an additional floor and 14 more units.

The complex will contain 321 apartments, 13% of which will be affordable, along with amenities like private courtyards, a backyard, building services, and on-site parking for 396 vehicles.
