2115 Kittredge Street in Berkeley

After an attempted appeal was rejected, the Berkeley City Council will allow the 18-story residential development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 2115 Kittredge Street site to move forward. The apartment tower will rise above the California Theatre, which will retain its historic façade and contain a new 325-seat live performance space despite partial demolition. The residential portion of the development will have 211 units, and the complex will contain over 24,000 square feet of retail space and on-site parking for bicycles.
