Along with 32 units of housing, the development will have almost 2,000 square feet of commercial space and ground floor garage for on-site parking. Moreover, four units of housing will be very low-income.

The Environmental Impact Report has been released for the 432-unit, multi-structure residential complex at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 123 Independence Drive site in Menlo Park. The development will consist of an apartment building and townhouses surrounding a central green area, with 48 of the 316 apartments and 18 of the 116 townhomes being designated as affordable. There will also be on-site parking for 552 cars and 714 bicycles.

An affordable, mixed-use development has been proposed at 4742 Mission Street in San Francisco, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. The complex will feature 46 units of housing, 11 of which will be affordable, and ~2,500 square feet of commercial space. There will also be on-site parking for seven vehicles and 46 bicycles.

EAH Housing has submitted permits for a mixed-use affordable housing complex at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 500 Lake Park Avenue site in Oakland. The development would demolish the single-story commercial building currently on-site, replacing it with a six-story structure consisting of 54 affordable units, ~2,500 square feet of retail space, and on-site parking.

The pre-application process has begun for developer Riaz Capital’s residential complex at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 2127 Dwight Way site in Berkeley. Using the State Density Bonus program, the project will consist of a 67-foot-tall structure across four parcels of land, which will create 58 new multifamily housing units.

Tours are underway at the new eight-story, micro-unit apartment complex at 361 Turk Street in San Francisco, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. This development, which is certified LEED Gold, functions in conjunction with another microunit complex at 145 Leavenworth Street. Together, the two projects, dubbed TL 361 and TL 145, will provide 240 new homes.

Mercy Housing has filed an application for new building permits at 1939 Market Street in San Francisco, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. The development will be a 15-story affordable senior housing complex, which will have 187 units of housing along with 1,520 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

A four-story residential development has been proposed at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 2555 College Avenue in Berkeley. The complex, which will be built on a 4,000-square-foot vacant parcel and contain 10,000 square feet of space, will include 11 mixed-income units, with 14% reserved for very low-income households.

A construction estimate has been given for the 89 townhomes to be built in a multiphase development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s Balboa Reservoir site. These townhomes are phase one of an estimated 1,100 unit project from affordable housing developers BRIDGE Housing and AvalonBay Communities, and groundbreaking for this phase is expected in 2024.
