Construction has started on the Chester at Westlake mixed-use apartment complex at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 99 Southgate Avenue site in Daly City. This new development, which would contain 214 apartments, would overlook the Westlake Shopping Center. The complex would also include 10,000 square feet of ground-level retail space and on-site parking in a two-story podium garage. Additional amenities include a fitness center, yoga room, co-working space, communal bar, two landscaped courtyards, and a rooftop sky lounge.

Plans have been discussed to construct up to 225 townhomes at the Clearview Business Park at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 3000-3155 Clearview Way in San Mateo. Around 15% of these units would be affordable, and public areas would include landscaped paseos, gathering areas, and a central green space. This project would require the demolition of the existing office buildings at the site.

The new three-story campus building for University High School at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 3150 California Street site in San Francisco is now complete. The 48,000-square-foot facility was designed to meet Net Zero Energy Standards, with the building containing classrooms, STEM learning spaces, community gathering spaces, food services, faculty rooms, a new multi-purpose gymnasium, and outdoor common areas. This is the fifth building within the University High School campus, and it is expected to receive LEED Platinum certification.
