Plans were approved for an affordable housing development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 2453 Camino Ramon site within the Bishop Ranch master plan in San Ramon. The two-building development will feature 200 units; the first building will be a 120-unit family building, and the second building will be an 80-unit senior living facility. Residential amenities will include a picnic area, fitness center, outdoor deck, technology center, and career and school resource center, as well as a courtyard, garden, and dog park.

Construction has moved forward at the Summer Oaks affordable housing development at 175 West Verano Avenue in Sonoma, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. The complex will create 72 affordable units, 52 of which will be allocated to farmworkers and their families, and amenities will include a community courtyard, a learning center, and a play area for children. The development is also near Maxwell Farms Regional Park, which features nature trails, picnic sites, and fields.

Demolition work has begun for the seven-story apartment complex at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 2300 Ellsworth Street site in Berkeley. The development, which is within walking distance of Downtown Berkeley BART and Telegraph Avenue, will create 69 units targeting UC Berkeley students, with parking included for 103 bicycles.

Plans have been approved for a five-story, 91-unit affordable senior housing development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 2500 76th Avenue in Oakland. The complex will also contain a podium-top courtyard, community room, and an amenity space with a lounge, computer room, and exercise room, as well as on-site parking for cars and bicycles.

Plans were approved to partially convert a church into a residential development at 1433 12th Street in Oakland, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. The complex would create 30 units in a primary residential structure adjacent to the church, and the church interior would be remodeled to contain at least two residential units, family offices, and support spaces. A second-level sky bridge would connect the residential structure and church.
