San Francisco-based investor Tidewater Capital is proceeding with two of its projects in Oakland located at 533 Kirkham Street and 1431 Franklin Street, both of which are Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. 533 Kirkham is a proposed 289-unit development with 3,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space near West Oakland BART, while the 40-story 1431 Franklin will consist of 381 units and on-site parking. Overall, these two projects will bring 670 residential units to Oakland, 52 of which will be affordable.
