Permits were filed to begin the demolition of an existing building and parking lot to make way for the two-building, five-story residential development at 1708 Harmon Street in Berkeley, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. Each building will contain 40 units, and of the 80 units, 79 will be affordable, with the final unit being used for the complex’s manager. Amenities will include a community room and outdoor podium-top courtyard, and residents will be just a ten-minute walk from the Ashby BART Station.
