Plans are moving forward for a Berkeley Unified School District workforce housing development at 1701 San Pablo Avenue, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. The project, which received funding from Berkeley’s Affordable Housing Bond, will create 110 new residential units; of those 110 units, 80 will be affordable. Though these units will be available to the public, Berkeley Unified School District employees will receive priority. The six-story complex will also contain amenities such as a shared landscaped courtyard.
