A groundbreaking ceremony was held for The Eliza, a senior housing complex at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 2125 Telegraph Avenue site in Oakland. The eight-story development will create 96 affordable units for residents aged 62 and older, 20 of which will be allocated to seniors who have faced homelessness, along with one manager’s unit. Amenities will include a rooftop deck, courtyard, community room, kitchen, and parking for bicycles. Construction is currently underway, and residents are expected to begin moving in by September 2027.
