The San Francisco Board of Supervisors is preparing to establish a Special Use District to allow for housing to be constructed behind the existing façade of the Alexandria Theater at 5400 Geary Boulevard in San Francisco, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. The complex would create 75 apartments, approximately 12% of which will be affordable, while the theater’s marquee, original murals, and distinctive chandelier will be preserved. The property is also within walking distance of Golden Gate Park.
