New building permits were filed for the market-rate housing component of the mixed-income development at 1111 Sutter Street in San Francisco, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. The planned 22-story complex would contain 303 rental units, 102 of which would be affordable. The development would also contain a childcare facility, 2,800 square feet of commercial space, and on-site parking for cars and bicycles. Furthermore, the project would preserve the structure of a historic auto repair shop at the site. The market-rate housing application follows the filing of affordable housing permits for the complex in November 2024.
