Permits were filed to entitle Phases 1A and 1B of the RESHAP affordable housing plan at the former Alameda Naval Air Station in Alameda, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. These new permits covered two four-story residential developments, with Stardust Gardens at 451 Stardust Place in Phase 1A and Harbor Village at 2450 Pan Am Way in Phase 1B. The two complexes will yield a total of 166 apartments, over 1,000 square feet of retail space, and around 7,400 square feet of office space, as well as on-site parking for cars and bicycles. The full RESHAP buildout will create 332 units of affordable housing and resources for families, veterans, survivors of domestic violence, and people who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing homelessness.
