Renderings have been revealed for the proposed expansion of the St. Ignatius College Preparatory School campus at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 2001 37th Avenue site in San Francisco. This proposal would create a new main facility for the school overlooking Sunset Boulevard, while some of the existing campus would be demolished. This main facility would consist of a new 39-foot-tall, 187,200-square-foot building containing ground-level classrooms, a kitchen, and a practice room. The second floor will contain The Commons, a flexible space for academic functions and events, as well as a chapel. Lastly, the third floor will add more classrooms, along with faculty space and a large open room. On-site parking for bicycles will also be provided.
