Transit-Oriented Development
Considering the role of the Bay Area as an economic hub, public transit, especially Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), is critical in assisting people with easy access to their jobs and services. Some of these developments, such as the Walnut Creek and MacArthur Transit Villages, are located adjacent to BART stations. In contrast, other developments like Alma Station in Menlo Park look to revitalize underdeveloped areas near Caltrain stations.
