The Emeryville Public Market (EPM) development consisted of five parcels, designated Parcels A through E, located near the intersection of Shellmound and 64th Street in Emeryville. Planned developments included residential buildings at Parcels C and D, as well as a grocery market at Parcel C. Infrastructure improvements included the expansion of the existing Christie Street community park, realignment of a segment of Shellmound Street, new streets and sidewalks, and new utilities and joint trenches.
Rockridge Geotechnical (RG) performed geotechnical investigations for the project. In addition, Rockridge Geotechnical provided consultation during design, bidding, and permitting, as well as geotechnical observation, testing, and consultation services during the construction of residential and supermarket buildings at Parcel C, a residential building at Parcel D, the Christie Park expansion, and infrastructure and street improvements.
