Rockridge Geotechnical (RG) performed a geotechnical investigation that revealed that the primary geotechnical concern was highly expansive near-surface soil at the site. Therefore, recommendations to mitigate the effects of the highly expansive soil by using lime treatment were provided. 

During construction, Rockridge Geotechnical initially observed, then later tested, lime treatment and grading for both the building pad and parking lot subgrade. Rockridge Geotechnical also checked foundation excavations and the indoor pool excavation for suitable bearing material and cleanliness.
