Rockridge Geotechnical (RG) performed a preliminary, supplemental, and final geotechnical investigation to support the design and construction of this educator housing complex. The development includes the construction of three buildings connected by pedestrian breezeways. The majority of the buildings will be constructed at-grade with portions of the buildings fronting along 43rd Avenue built partially below-grade. The primary geotechnical concerns at the site include the presence of loose to medium-dense poorly-compacted sand fill blanketing the site, adjacent buildings on two sides of the site, and providing adequate foundation support.
