A ribbon cutting was recently held for the grand opening of the Casa Sueños affordable housing complex at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 3511 East 12^th Street site in Oakland. The development, which was a joint venture between the Unity Council and BRIDGE Housing, will create 181 units of affordable housing in the Fruitvale neighborhood. The development will also contain 7,500 square feet of retail space to be used by a local nonprofit organization.
