Permits were approved for a new six-story, 60-unit residential development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 3419 San Pablo Avenue in Oakland. The complex, which will be 100% affordable, will include common rooms and residential services for its tenants, as well as 1,400 square feet of retail space. Other amenities will include a landscaped rear courtyard and on-site parking for bicycles. The project also benefited from Senate Bill 330, which allowed for a streamlined review process, and the State Density Bonus program due to its affordability.
