A pre-application using Senate Bill 330 was submitted for an eight-story apartment complex at 2733 San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley, one of Rockridge Geotechnical’s sites. Base zoning allows for 103 units at the site, but by including 16 affordable units for very low-income households, the State Density Bonus program increases the residential capacity to 152 units. The development will also include over 1,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space, as well as amenities like a club room and ground-level garden for residents.
