Construction on Shirley Chisholm Village, a five-story affordable housing development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s site at 1360 43^rd Avenue in San Francisco, has topped out. The complex will contain 135 apartments, 134 of which will be allocated for qualified educators that are designated as low- to moderate-income; the final unit will be for the building manager. The building will contain amenities such as a community plaza with a play area for children, two residential courtyards, and on-site parking for cars and bicycles.
