A grand opening ceremony was recently held for the new affordable housing development at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 1171 Mesa Drive site in Almaden, San Jose. The complex, called Mesa Terrace Community, will create 46 affordable homes; 23 of those homes will be for low-income families, while the other 23 will be for transition-aged youths recently exiting the foster system. The complex also includes a 1,000-square-foot community room and is within walking distance of the Blossom Hill VTA light rail station, as well as being next to a retail plaza with a grocery store.
