New renderings have been released for the eight-story, 207-unit mixed-use development that will replace multiple old commercial buildings at Rockridge Geotechnical’s 1598 University Avenue site in Berkeley. Out of the 207 new homes, 21 will be affordable for very low-income households, allowing the project to utilize the State Density Bonus program. The complex will also feature almost 6,000 square feet of retail space and on-site parking for cars and bicycles.
