Construction is now underway for Rockridge Geotechnical’s Elco Yards complex at 1601 El Camino Real in Redwood City. The 8.3-acre, multi-building project plans to create over 500 units of housing, office space, retail space, a childcare center, and open space with greenery, such as tree-lined streets. This development is deliberately located next to an existing Caltrain station, as well as existing restaurants, shops, and offices, creating a large transit village.
